Ariel Castro. YAY!

He pled guilty and was given life without parole plus 1,000 years. I am so glad that his victims will be spared having to testify against him.

They do get to face him in court and get to make a statement if they want to.

Here is the link.

I have a feeling he'll end up being the prison bitch in the near future.

Saw this today. Thank goodness those women will be spared the horror of reliving every last detail in court. Now I simply wish them love, autonomy and peace. I just want them to have a chance to be free and for the world to maybe show them that there is a place of dignity for them.

Go softly my sweet friend. You will always be a part of who I am.

I have a feeling that the lawyer for the 3 girls really pushed the DA to make a deal. While he deserves to die for what he did, they did not deserve to be made into a public spectacle on Nancy Grace, et al. And the difference between life in prison without parole and a death sentence with 10-20 years of appeals (and public attention) is really not much of a difference.

If I remember correctly one of them has a little girl. It's good that she doesn't have to go through that either.

I think...therefore, I'm single.

It is what it is.

He will get stuck with other sex offenders and will be ridiculed by all the other prisoners, if not assaulted. Non-sex offender prisoners don't like sex offenders.
