So I signed papers before Fourth of July, he signed final papers 3 weeks later...(trying to exert control again I suppose), he might lose his job and is under investigation and today I hear the OW (future step-mom I suppose) is preggo...and its a boy.

How does one process this? I mean, am I wrong to hope that with her own child she might not want mine? How to others in this situation deal with this?

My XH dragged the divorce out. Refused to sign the decree for months. Then all the sudden wanted it done like tomorrow. I later found out the OW was pregnant.

The OW in my situation is a nut job. She doesn't act like most normal people. So I wouldn't even want to compare her to someone else or what someone else might do.

She doesn't even like kids, can't stand them but has 3 of her own. Of course she only physically has 1 of those kids.

I don't think you are wrong to feel that way. Actually I think it's normal. You have a lot to process. Did you find all this out in one day?

Ugh, I am waiting for my FT to sign my papers too. He is really PA. I so hope you get your finalization soon.

I also think it's just a matter of time before OW is pregnant if she isn't already. I have no advice on how to deal with it. I'm just nervous that my douchebag will dump his first two kids once he has one with the skank.

I'm so sorry you're having to deal with this. I think there is a forum about dealing with an OC on the I Can Relate board. Maybe you can find some advice there.

Well according to word on the street, the baby wasn't planned, and it's her first. TO be completely honest, I hope this means good news for me.
