My sister suggested this book and I started reading it a couple of weeks ago. I'm not getting into it - the way it's written is a bit off for me. I decided to stick it out a bit longer, but then it hit me. The main story is told from the perspective of the OW. I've read other novels where an A has taken place, but never told from this point of view.
I'm struggling because the plot is great, but I'm finding it really hard to sympathize with this woman. I find myself rolling my eyes whenever this character speaks.
Anyone read this book? Should I stick it out? Like I said, it's a great storyline. It's not making me trigger or anything. She's just annoying and pathetic. Like all OW, right?

I read it. I found it to be okay, nothing great. I would never re-read it, for whatever that's worth.

The oxymoron of the title would have turned me off. One bit of advice--if you don't like a book, stop reading. There are too many good books out there to waste your time with a bad one.
