There's a local tiki bar that hosts Drag Queen bingo on Saturday nights. I figured you can go to Drag Queen Bingo solo. Bingo sheets are cheap. I still can't drink because of mono recovery, but I can enjoy the ambience... and the psuedo gambling.

That sounds like a blast, the people watching there must be incredible. It might be a good idea for women going there to go light on the make up, you don't want people coming up to you and telling you they could never tell you were a dude.

It was great, I won the last game and won a $75.00 gift card for the place it was held.

Well, it was six whole dollars... money for a rainy day?

After drinks and parking, I'm down about $14...

I'm so jealous. If there were drag queen bingo near me, I'd go in a heartbeat.

Sorry I missed your pic-- that sounded like a blast!

Im jealous too! There are a lot of drag brunches and drag happy hours here in DC. I've always wanted to go, but never have found the time or someone to go with (I'm still a little skittish about going to bars alone, my neighborhood is a bit of a meat market scene).

I have started going to line dancing lessons... great to get out and laugh again!

For those of you still struggling to get out, I really, really want to challenge you to step outside of your comfort zone. Go out, socialize, talk to people. Make plans with a friend. Do *not* do the "we should meet up sometime" make a plan - let's get brunch on Sunday!

At the end of the day, I'm having fun and enjoying people. Of course, my wallet is a little lighter - but my stories are better
