So we had tornado warnings, thunderstorm warnings, hail, lighting, the plague, whatever last night. First there was a trip down to the basement with the four dogs (one with a hip replacement who has to be "slung" to carry down).

Once the tornado warning passed we trouped back upstairs.... to all fit onto the King sized bed. That's 240 lbs of dogs and two humans. I slept with puppy Mac across my face. fWS said we both looked comfortable and I was still breathing so she wasn't going to move him!

Not a chance of that happening here. My bed is the last sanctuary in this house. The ONLY place not riddled with a dog, cats or children. They can stay out. I'll lay on the floor with my scared pup before that stinky little monster (who will soon be a large, stinkier, little monster) gets in my bed. Hell.. my husband is lucky he gets to be in the bed. I love my sleep.

Go softly my sweet friend. You will always be a part of who I am.

We only have a queen size bed. It's bad enough that wh likes to pretend he's a starfish most nights and I am happy to finally have dd in her own bed (she kicks!!!!!!!). So storm or not everyone can curl up on the floor

Our chihuahua used to sleep on HIS bed on the floor in our bedroom but got up into bed with us one night. When he tried to jump off he hurt his leg (thankfully not badly) so now he's restricted to the sofa downstairs.
