I went to a party last night, stayed up way too late, and today I'm feeling cranky and extremely lonely. Sigh.

I probably just need more sleep. I had a great time and then it was kind of like a letdown afterwards.

It does feel like this the first few times you go out and leave it all behind for a night. You're thrilled because you realise you didn't think about all of this shit for a few hours but then you start thinking about all of this shit.

The more you do it the less let-downs you get. Kind of like holiday-itis.

Gotta love the irony of it...I'm feeling shitty because just a handful of hours ago I wasn't

It's so frustrating. When I do go out and do stuff, I feel good, and then I feel terribly lonely when I get back home.

When I don't, I don't feel lonely, I just feel kinda numb.

Feeling things, even bad feelings, is better than numb.

It gets better. You're making new habits - it feels weird at first.
