If you were a sick freak, where would you hide the videos?

Yes, boys & girls, this is a garage thread!

I just found an extensive list of disgusting videos that STBX either ordered or wanted to order. Probably dozens. If you were a sick SOB and you'd ordered truly disgusting videos with words like "gang rape", "sodomy", "sluts", "filthy fuckers", and on & on (including a long list of anal rape movies and lots where young virgins are being "popped", how charming), and you lived in a home with a wife and three young children, where would you be hiding these videos???

Apparently STBX has a fascination with anal. I had no idea. Gee, you think you know someone... Anyway, I have never seen video cassettes like these, nor have I ever found a number of mysterious video cassettes, nor have I found hidden floppy disks or DVD's. Considering that this is a very, very long list, I'd be shocked if he didn't have some of the titles already.

Where would someone hide videos or video media? I need ideas. I don't want my kids to find these videos. I thought I'd gone through everything everywhere already.

Fun times. Name of company is A&B Videos, aka Demonic Films. Anyone surprised?

Ok, that is messed up

The only suggestion is in his tool chest, but only if you don't use the tools. SO's father hid some videos in the tool chest because his mom was not handy in the least. SO was pretty funny, as it was his job to destroy them after his father passed but because of all the grief and then his mom's sudden death, he only recently remembered. But at least he remembered them before his sisters found them (please note, they were NOT those kind of videos, I don't want in any way to disparage a truly wonderful man)

Do you have a crawlspace? What about an attic or storage area above the garage. Any larger items in the garage, that maybe could be slid to reveal a hidden space?

If he really wanted to make an earnest attempt to hide the videos in plain sight, perhaps they might be encased in sleeves with harmless movie titles or (God forbid) children's programs.

Otherwise... do you have any loose floorboards in your house? Maybe check in your car's trunk where the spare tire is?

I hope that, for your sake, he took those with him. Ew.

Is it possible they were downloads? No hard copies?

Or I've heard of a terrifying number of people here on SI finding that stuff mixed in with all their other media.

Your ex....I'd say start somewhere like the dishwasher, because nothing he does makes any sense. Maybe behind the deep freeze? Taped under the dresser drawers? Under ther kids' mattresses?

Try tearing out the walls of the garage. Or look for a trap door in the floor.

A hole in wall behind something hanging in front of it. Drawers with false bottoms.

What a sick POS to have so much shit in garage when there are kids in the house.

Yes, we have a crawlspace up in the "attic". I can check that later this week when the kids are off with STBX for visitation. No time for that tonight. No loose floorboards, but now I'm getting nervous as I think about what might be behind a dresser or headboard... He took his car with him, so I can't check that. I am absolutely certain that, had I known to tos s that car, I'd have found scads of evidence. Oh well, hindsight being 20/20 'n all...

Lord, just thinking about going up in the attic freaks me out.

What about YOUR car where the spare tire is? He doesn't seem to have any problem mixing his garbage in with your things.

My ex kept them in luggage. An old Navy seabag that he packed whenever we traveled. Luggage.

Drop ceiling anywhere in the house?

Top of a closet?

But if your ex is anything like my ex, they were among the few possessions packed and taken with.

OHMYGOSH, now that you guys are giving me these ideas, I just realized that we also have a crawl space under the house. STBX used to keep stuff in there. I never went there because there are lots of spiders. The door to the crawl space is accessed from the unsecured backyard. And then one day last year that door - which is very tightly fitted and never came open by itself even in 60+ mph winds - was found wide open. No explanation I could think of. No animals, no winds or storms. Just one day the kids told me the door was open.

Oh. My. Gosh.

Seriously? Someone would record over Elmo or Baby Einstein? People do that?
