After a horrid weekend my WW and I have begun a kind of separation. She spent a night at a hotel last night and I will be in one tonight.

I know I need to detach emotionally but I am struggling with it so much. I think there is an element of loss and grief that I am going through, but I need to be better. I want to emotionally detach from this M but just feel sad and angry inside.

Arghhhh.

Apology. You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

You will detach kg. It takes time.

Please be careful switching nights in a hotel, that at some point she doesn't lock you out, saying you abandoned the home. I know it's hard, but you really should see a lawyer and get something written up so you don't get screwed out of your house, belongings, or whatever else.

In the mean time, do something nice for you. Something to help you stay calm. Exercise, walk, beat a punching bag. And please make sure you eat something. Drink water. It's important to look after you through this.
