Background:

My youngest son, 14, got a 30 day extension on some community service he was ordered to do by the court last year. He is almost finished so the judge okayed it.

My stbx-bpd-npd-pa-sa-alcoholic-asshole returned to work 2 weeks ago, after being home for 2 months due to congestive heart failure. It's all due to his lifestyle choices.

He takes his traveling sex shop on the road with his job for 9 months of the year.

So he's gone for 3 weeks straight this time, which is right during the time my youngest goes to court, the kids start school, his mothers birthday, etc.

I find out he's 'working' in the location where his latest "girlfriend" lives.

He asked me to update him on how it went with my son. He could have been here and this isn't the first time he's been off when my kids have had life changing events happen.

So, to clarify, he is a selfish fucker.

Here's the e-mail I want to send him regarding the outcomes of everything I handle. As usual I have it all handled.

While you're there bedding your lover, for what it's worth with that bad heart of yours and all, I was taking care of business, once again, as always. Go fuck yourself when you're finished with her.

Don't work too hard and have a nice day * winking

So please SI peeps ~ should I hit sent? If not, what should I say?

Me: BS 51 and Freaking AWESOME!

Although I personally loved your well-crafted response I think you should go with something along the lines of:

Everything has been taken care of.

Honestly? Your son is 14. Your son can update him if he wants to. These days, with teens? They all have cells, and prefer to "talk" that way. His dad can send him a text asking.

BS(me) 46, Two wonderful teens.
He is no longer my best friend. Repeat until it sticks.

Do not send it. He deserves no more of your emotion.

I agree - your son is 14, he can keep his father updated if he wants to.

I would probably send a note telling him to direct all queries to your son - just the once and then ignore any further contact on this matter.

I may have reached a point where I'd piss on him if he was on fire.... eventually!!
