I've been with my company for over 7 years. I've survived an acquisition and multiple rounds of layoffs. I feel like it's time for a change though. I like my company overall, love the people I work with, but I just feel stagnant.
I sent my resume to my old boss last week (she left my company last year). They called me today to schedule an interview. I have to call them back, which I'm going to do shortly. I'm so nervous at the thought of making a big change yet I really feel like it's time.
I'm not setting my sights on this particular job, because it might not work out. If it doesn't, I think this is going to give me the jump start to really look elsewhere. Sometimes all you need is a nudge!

Thank you!!! Interview is set up for Thursday afternoon. First I meet with my old boss and then I meet with the owner of the company. I haven't been on an interview in over 7 years. Anyone have any tips???
