I'm getting ready to sell the marital home. We have a lovely house on an acre and a half. I'm considering burying the slim wedding band in the backyard the day I leave the house for good. Sort of leaving the past behind.

Mine was a cheap tungsten carbide band. I shattered it in a vise. She left her engagement ring sitting on the counter in the bathroom. After a while, I got tired of looking at it and sold it at a jewelry store.
