A bit of a side issue..but why does a 28 year old man have a "birthday WEEK?"

..that feeling you get in your stomach, when you heart's broken. It's like all the butterflies just died.

It's his birthday week, and I feel guilty for doing this on his birthday week. I feel like I should be putting him first, and stuffing my emotions down until after his birthday. But I felt like I was going to explode if I didn't say something to him. And now we're not talking, and I don't know what to do to fix it.
LG, I think your WH needs to grow up a little. No adult man has a "birthday week." He turned 28. BFD.
You shouldn't be putting him first. He should be putting you first. Let your emotions fly. Demand that he acts like a remorseful husband or give you 50% and let you move on to someone that will love you. This is his to fix, not yours.

So, yeah, the birthday week is my term, not his. I told him him I wanted to be included with any birthday celebrations, and he went to his dads house the week of his birthday to get his present, but told me it wasn't for his birthday. Since its the week of his birthday, I took that as a lie. Maybe I did overreact...
And I didn't want to fight with him the week of his birthday because i love holidays and wanted to make him happy. But that's more my thing than his I guess.
