I'm laughing at this because the same thing happens in my court too... 
The kids have come home hungry. And don't even talk about the hygiene thing--one weekend he had them from Friday to Monday evening. I pick them up thinking I could just put them in their jammies, only to recognize the underwear that I put on them the previous Thursday night! UGH!! I put my kids in the tub and scrubbed them down even though they were falling asleep...
I shouldn't be surprised, his bedroom at his parents smells like the funk of a 15 year old's gym locker! How could I expect him to remember to bathe them when he won't bathe himself!
