My final bit of advice would be to abort operation imgonnacatchya@gmail.com and to save your money on the PI.
It serves no purpose unless of course your preference is toward games and fiction.

Our baby being air flighted to the hospital was also found in a text message.
So if I call him out on that, he could say, "oh it must be mystery guy trying to mess with me!"
I could easily check to see what is a real text from him or not by using my company's resources, however, I would be fired for looking up my own information or information not related to a customer. And I like my job, so..
I could have him call into phone carrier and give me permission to talk to the rep. I could talk them into how to find the information I would need to verify who sent what text message and if the phone was cloned or not.
