I believe in God, I'm Catholic.
My belief doesn't strengthen nor weaken no matter what is going on in my life.
If I'm struggling I pray for help, if I'm winning I give thanks.
My belief in God all comes down to a faith I have- it doesn't really move and hasn't done since I was around 14/15.
Something that resonated with me was during the Paralympics- they did a survey for the members of Team GB who had been in an accident which had resulted in some kind of disability, the question was simple- "are you lucky or unlucky"- every single one said lucky. Then they asked the athletes who were born with a disability- again, "lucky".
I think this shows that in this world, with all the suffering, there is no suffering that joy, confidence and hope can't overwhelm.
I also don't really give a monkeys what anyone believes as long as they're happy, comfortable in their beliefs and are equipped with humanity and a decent moral code
my friend put "jedi" as his religion on the 2011 census like many here in the UK did...
