There are 6 blankets... 1 moses basket.
3 blankets are that soft stuff and 2 are smoother... 1 is a quilty looking thing.
Also- the moses basket mattress has a smooth side and a rougher side... Well not rough- has traction.. Thats the bottom right?
Why don't they come with instructions?!
I need to get this made up and right to avoid looking like a muppet!

Yes, the smooth side is up and the rougher side down.
As for blankets, we swaddled our newborn and she slept in a sleepsack for a long time. However, he might need more blankets for warmth than she did - maybe just make sure they are washed and folded somewhere handy to grab?
