I had worried how our younger JRT would do since losing his older sister....especially given that they had become tighter in the last years. One of the first things I felt inclined to do was to buy a new, smaller bed since they had always shared a bed before. I came across this child's chair at Costco which I personally thought was so cute and the price was right.

He LOVES it!! And as silly as it sounds, I think it has actually helped to make the transition easier.

I thought I would share a couple of pics. Even though my boys think I'm nuts, I knew my SI peeps would appreciate it.

He is adorable! I bought a child's chair for my corgis, and they hated it.

Thanks, moo. Most of the time I like him much better than my kids.

Sorry about the quality of the pics....cell phone, have to move quickly, and can't use flash due to the demon eyes every. single. time.

I would have done exactly the same thing! He looks loved and happy and well-cuddled. Good job!

Really!? I left the tags on for a week but knew within a couple of days that it wasn't going back. The only down side is that it's not really washable - at least not like a typical doggie bed.

I also bought one of those burrow beds - which being a JRT, I thought he would absolutely love.

He hates it.

I keep encouraging him - especially at night because he ends up in our bed, under the covers. I don't think I'm going to change his mind.
