I'm feeling really optimistic because I finally started IC, and I had two great sessions this week! 1DH also started IC. Since I started, we haven't faught at all! I've been able to control my anger and overwhelming sadness, and turn it into positive, constructive conversations with 1DH.
I really hope this feeling lasts! I really want our marriage to work. I know that he has to work just as hard, but I'm hoping he's taking a step in the right direction with IC as well so that we both have the tools to heal!

It is great that you found an IC that you are comfortable with. I was so fortunate to find one...without her wisdom I probably would have jumped ship in those early days. We are entering year 4 next month and life is so much better.
Continued success in IC and R.

The truth hurts, but I have never seen it cause the pain that lies do.
