Just wanted to share that yesterday I felt very sad. I think it was a mix of lack of sleep, hormones, the strain from the conference....but basically I let myself feel that way and not try to fight it. Didn't try to hash anything out with my H. Didn't try to understand something. Didn't try to do something to make me happy - although I do see the benefit in that - I get what the therapists mean now but feeling the pain. If you squash it down, it will surely come back.

I journaled a few things while the kids were in Sunday School and that seemed to relieve me a little.

Someone reminded me of my tagline the other day. R is not linear. These days will happen. Need to feel my sadness and then move on.

I feel better today and with a work out coming up that should help even more.

Have a good day you guys.

MY heart goes out to you, I have those days as well. Know that it is ok. Be good to yourself. My sadness comes out a little at a time. One day I said to him that I wished I could slit myself open so ALL of this sadness and despair could just our out of me at once.

Hi LA44--That's wonderful. I'm heading out to the gym myself in a bit and that truly is my saving grace--my little thing for me. I like what you said about just feeling it and moving on--right on the money. I need to remind myself of that more and that it's okay to let that happen. I still tend to get caught up in having to assign every feeling to a reason--it is exhausting at times. I'm glad I read this today!

Hugs!

I totally understand this. I think it is healthy. Who said being sad is bad or wrong? We just need to feel how we feel fer crissakes.

About every other month I call in sick and watch HGTV all day long from my bed. Sometimes I am just SAD! I always feel better for just indulging it and letting it be. I find it helps keep the Black Dog at bay.

Glad I could help LoveActually and I have said the same thing SSL...about splitting myself open. What an image.
