I just left for a three day work trip I do the last week of September every year.
During this trip two years ago, fWS and OM had their first "date". fWS and OM took DS3 to the park and playground. She asked my permission and I enthusiastically said yes. I thought it was nice she met a new friend. I just didn't know what kind of "friend" he would be.
There has been an underlying ssadness the last couple days and a lot of what ifs. "What if I said no". And shit like that.
I mentioned it to broevil this morning. She hasn't put two and two together. Which is OK, she is not a date person like I am.
Without missing a beat she says "why didn't you say something earlier? I'm going next year!!! We are taking that shit back!!!!"
