So I hardly ever check the "Other" folder in my Facebook messages. Checked it today and there's a message from some guy from a neighboring town: "You look beautiful today." Dated August 1. I think I "checked in" at Starbucks that day, and he was probably there. Not sure how that all works, TBH.
Creepy, right? Showed it to BH. Dude is clearly romantically involved, from his profile pix.
What would you do? Inform the wife/GF/fiancée? Do nothing? It's just creepy and weird.

That is very creepy. I think the best thing to do is ignore.
Is your profile set to public? If so, you might want to consider locking down your privacy so not everyone can see your check-ins, etc.
I do think you did the right thing by showing it to your BH as soon as you found out, though.

I would say ignore.
And lock down your privacy settings.

Go to his profile and block him. That's what I'd do.

Ignore is what I'm thinking, thanks. Especially since it's two months old. Made my profile very private post-DDay, but it seems like my check-ins are public?! I like to check in to show BH where I am, but due to this I will look into privacy settings, as I'm assuming there's probably a means of making check-ins "friends only."

If you block him, he'll no longer see anything you do.
