Very happy it went well. Are you going to be able to go to the followup sessions? I would highly recommend them. We got a lot out of them and enjoyed it, too.

Definitely planning on going to the post sessions.

The first night we were kind of overwhelmed but they know what they are doing...it is intense but the process makes sense at the end of the weekend.

Out of the 22 couples there, only one walked out looking miserable still. You could just see the change in relationships.

Weekend is over. I can not say that it changed my life, but i do think that it helped. Maybe helped my WW see some of her past that is affecting us today. She knew before, but maybe this turned the light on over her darkness. The communication techiques will be something we will try when things get hard. It did make me see that I need to dial back how I express my own frustration, and think about how it is coming accross. The message needs to be heard and understood, if I present it in the wrong manner it is lost before it is heard. Won't be easy, but it is already in my head that I need to change as well.

Kimintexas and Crazyman,

I'm glad you both benefited from your respective marriage workshop weekends.

Growing forward
