Things have been going great and it's been almost 10 days since any horrible sadness/anger which is reason enough to celebrate. :)

However, I would rather the day pass quietly with no well wishes from family/friends or anything. H and I share a Facebook page so thankfully I can avoid it and let him deal with it so I don't come across as a witch. :)

Back in June we got cheap wedding bands with the inscription "I promise" on them. Oddly enough this cheap ring means more to me than my nice one and the day we got them is the day I would prefer to celebrate. It was also my youngest dd's birthday. But tomorrow is the "official" day so I guess I have to deal.

happy anniversary.

we reached 16 in june. of course OW had to ruin it again by contacting my H that day...she must have known the day. She started off by emails that whole week and then phone calls on the day. I really wanted to celebrate the 16th since the 15th was also ruined by online women of the random variety...he didn't even remember it. So this year I placed major emphasis on 16. I tried to not let the OW ruin it but she did in my mind.

princess peach, I think our stories and timelines are very similar...

well i hope your 16th is better than mine. I like the gold bands idea. i would like to do that too but I don't think H would be into that.

Thank you :)

H has to work until 1 today but said goodbye before he left and I went back to sleep. Then I woke up and the first thing I see is a couple we became close with this summer talking about today being their 11th anniversary. I didn't know and it hit me hard for some reason - I can't stop crying. The kids are on fall break but I wish they were in school so I could let it all out. :/
