The leader of our local running group has fallen sick tonight and they have asked me to lead tonight's run.

Really they want me to lead, I spend 90% of my running cracking wise, pretending to be dying as we go uphill and warning others that I may end up in a ditch on the way home.

They want me as a leader?? Oh this should be an interesting run....lol. Pray for them all.

Sounds like it's going to be a fun run!

Enjoy it and good luck! You're probably a great motivator and don't realize it.

Okay it was an interesting run. Let me preface this by saying if you are planning on running, perhaps it would be a good idea to not have an appointment with your personal trainer before hand. He kicked my ass! He focused a lot on my hamstrings, so I was a lame duck on the run.

How did my first time go as running leader...Well I kinda lost some of the pack. OOps. We had some slower runners who didn't really know the route and I was so focused on not dying on the road that I didn't check to ensure they were behind me. But I am happy to say they did find their own way to the end spot. No one died, and we didn't need a search party.

I fel behind a little bit because I was pretty sure my legs were going to explode (damn that ginger haired bastard and his attempts to kill me with exercise!). It is really hard to instill confidence in others when you are crawling and wheezing along the route. Sad really.

But was assured that my comic relief made up for any shortcomings ...yes..win! lol
