We both have smart phones. He is on my plan bc of the kids. The last two months he has gone crazy with the gigabites. We have six. He used just south of 5. Our bill changes over on the 28th.
He swears he only uses fb. Well, I use fb, internet, I use navigation (I turn it off when not using it as it sucks up battery. I let the kids occassionally watch videos if I need to keep them quiet...and I dont eat up the usage. Is there a possible reason the phone would suck up 3 to 4 gigabites? Software update (which did happen on his pbone recently).

Could he be using it out of a Wi-Fi area? I'm on my phone a lot but I'm always on our Wi-Fi connection so I hardly use any of the data usage assigned to my phone.

I use 4-5 GB a month but I listen to a lot of music and watch a lot of Netflix.

If you're not staying on the wi-fi and watching a lot of videos, clips, tv etc., it will rack up your usage fast

No wi-fi accessable.
He swears he is not watching videos...12 hrs after he told me he was.
I am going to put him on restriction with parent control. He said he would pay for it...but am I going to have to request 20 gb?

Make sure he's closing out his apps when he's not using them. Also, make sure the WiFi is on! I tried emailing my cousin a bunch of photos from her wedding, and hadn't realized I had the WiFi off, used ½GB!!! In one hour!
