In my sitch, the only person who got results from pushing me was my IC - she knew what to say and how to say it. There was a time when she was the only person with whom I felt safe which is why I didn't leave her even after she pissed me off countless times.

Is your WH in IC?

He is but he even acknowledges that his IC doesn't push him. His sessions are like two buddies playing catch up. He's going to look for a new one. Thanks so much for taking the time to help me.

He definitely needs a new IC, for sure. I left my first IC because she was just too complacent and I could bullshit her every way to Sunday. I knew if I was going to really, really change, I needed someone who was going to make me uncomfortable and face my own stuff. He needs that. If we're not uncomfortable, we don't grow.

And you're welcome.
