Absolutely!!! Boy am I glad that I got into e-books now...
Although having said isn't this a rather HORRIBLE eye-opener about library books! (Thank God that I haven't actually read 50 shades of grey... I just have the other couple of million books that I have touched to worry about...
)

THIS!!!! I too used to be a fixture in our local library (before ebooks). The thought of what I may have been holding while eating my lunch or dinner...

And this surprises you how?

I honestly never really thought about it.
I guess I "expect" that other people will treat borrowed books the way I do (careful not to spill, rip, get dirty, self-pleasure, etc).
Obviously not everyone is on the same page....

My goodness, That is creepy!
The gods must have been watching over me...I dont go to the library. Not since I lost a book back in 1998 and have been afraid to return!

and THAT is why I do not get library books and I sanitize any new/used/borrowed books before I read them. You just never know when the last time someone washed their hands, and what they touched right before they touched what you just did.
