"Sometimes an A is a "perfect storm" that comes only once. After the storm, the cheater realizes what he/she has done, and they spend the rest of their life making sure they have their radar on, so they can see the clouds swirling around in advance, and go around the storm so as not to get caught up in it."
A bit off topic...but I keep seeing this quote. Is this from a book, article or post? Can someone direct me to it? Thank you!

I don't know but it looks like a nice way of saying, "I'll never do it again". Blaming cheating on a "perfect storm" indicates to me there were elements out of the control of the individual. Anything, anything that purports to find reason or logic or external circumstance that isn't 100% on the shoulders of the CLEAR CHOICE a wayward makes is an excuse.
Man walks into a convenience store and shoots and kills the clerk. Does the fact that he grew up poor and didn't get a good education mean he's allowed to shoot the clerk? Does it mean after spending 20 years in jail he'll never shoot a clerk again? He might very well get out, and do exactly that, shoot another clerk. Dude made a choice.
Just like a cheater makes a choice. There's no perfect storm. There's bad behaviors and good behaviors. If you were in a marriage where you cheated, then guess what, your spouse paid real close attention to their radar and you didn't. No storm, nothing was perfect, the cheater just cheated. No matter what EVER happens again, when someone cheats, it's an act that cannot be undone.
I define me! I don't just survive, I thrive!!
