as we said goodnight on our 2nd date. We had stayed talking until the restaurant closed (seriously putting chairs on table top closing...). Then we stood outside near our cars under an almost full moon and looked at the stars for a minute and made plans for our next date, then he turned and leaned in and kissed me....

I thought I had forgotten how, but I think it came back to me

Admittedly, after the first 2 seconds I felt the urge to run (but that is just how I have always been.. innately shy bordering on anxious/avoidant and I work really hard to work through that so I dont end up that old crazy lady with 25 cats. And most times I'm successful and appear totally normal). So I just let myself go and enjoy the moment. And I did. I really did.

it was soft and gentle then... a little more passionate, we stood there kissing for about 10 minutes before we hugged (then kissed some more... until the restaurant turned off their patio lights -LOL) then parted.

I love the adrenaline rush you get from the first kiss. Its probably not even your best performance in that department as your nervous. But there is something special about first kisses. Look at me getting all feminine and shit. Now I'll go back to being my hard assed self.

What an amazing moment - I dream about that first kiss, but no idea who it will be with (although I've got a couple of people in mind!). Way to go!
