Here's my latest painting--"Don't Eat the Spiders"--the largest canvas I've ever attempted.

Birds were dying of mercury poisoning in Maryland. Investigators felt the cause was their food supply, so they did a study. Turns out the problem was....spiders. I somehow got this news item co-mingled in my brain with another scientific study that showed the effects of drugs on a spider's ability to spin a web. You never saw such tangled webs! More examples of how we manage to poison our environment.

The canvas is a 48" x 48" x 1 1/2" acrylic with plastic mirrors so we can look at "The Man in the Mirror" and ask him to change his ways. This is my Christmas wish.

Age: 64..ummmmmmm, no...............65....no...oh, hell born in 1947. You figure it out!

Broevil, thank you. It's a small monster! I had to paint it flat on the floor, but the only floor space that was large enough was my kitchen, so for a whole Saturday, I ate out!
