First, hugs to all still going through S/D. Its a f'n painful process.
I am now free, got the sealed orders in the post today! Just over one year from DD, 1year + 6 days from originally agreeing the financial settlement which he, of course, reneged on.
Lots of acquired brain damage later because I thought we could do it amicably 
its finally over. That messed up selfish SOB is finally out of my life. FOR GOOD! 7 days remaining to finalize the transactions, then its all over red rover.
2013 you almost had me. Such joy in learning and living this new life, such equally contrasting moments of pain and despair. Did you really only last 1year? You went by so fast yet seemed to last so long. Unfortunately my sweet 2013 you cant compete with the first douche free year since 1996. Welcome 2014, I am looking forward to all you have to bring.
A big thanks to all on SI for the strength, hugs and advice so freely given by so many with such enormous hearts. 
There is still healing to do, but its okay, I can feel the sunshine now.

thank you for the congrats. I cant stop smiling.
I feel like a huge weight has been lifted, like the last year was spent in financial limbo and I was powerless to make any major changes and decisions incase it ended up in court.

Congrats to you!! I know 2014 will bring wonderful things to you!
I am still waiting for mediation. My STBX astounds me with the lies he still spews.....I have to remember that he is a liar, plain and simple. I will be so glad to be out of this limbo state I have been in for over a year now.
