Just finished work. I was supposed to hike tomorrow, but I haven't been sleeping well, so I decided to forego the hike to try to get some sleep. Yoga is at 11, then just relaxing. Probably going to the pub tomorrow night. Sunday it's supposed to rain/snow, so I really should clean this apartment...

This is a busy weekend.

Spent Friday with GF - Made dinner together for her family - baked ziti with italian sausage and ground beef sauce. We work great together in the kitchen. I was never any good at helping out at cooking and was always thrown out and made to feel useles. But when GF and I get to cooking or cleaning it just feels natural. We back each other up and just take over when the other one gets something else. We are totally in sync with each other.

Friday night I picked DS21 from the airport after he spent the week visitng with his mother. He has a new guitar coming from her for Christmas. And got the three younger kids yesterday morning.

Last night my parents came for their annual Christmas week visit. They are here until January 2. The time always is too short and goes by too quickly but they are set in their schedule and want to get home by the 3rd.

Yesterday was such a pretty day - 50-degrees, sunny - the pup and I were outside as much as possible. Now... cold, rainy, and here comes the deep freeze. This is when I wonder if getting a dog was such a great idea - LOL! We're working on training him to go out in the yard without me, but he's still not quite getting the concept.

DS gets to town on Jan 2nd for a few days and I have to go back to work Sat 1/4.

Is is Spring yet?

I'm done here; sick of 2 x 4s
