I haven't been here in a long time and have been working on my issues. I have posted an update on my profile for anyone interested. I am also posting this in ICR - Parents Who Had Affairs.

I am grateful for the members of SI who gave me such a wonderful response when I came here two years ago. I took their advice to heart and have finally had a significant break through as to why I was unfaithful.

For that I will be forever grateful to this site.

Wishing everyone a wonderful 2014 with much healing and happiness to all.

Congrats on the breakthrough. It really is a satisfying feeling when we get that "a-ha" or "of *course*" moment, when things make (more) sense.

I hope the new year finds you further along on your journey to a healthier you.

Thank you Clarrissa,

When you search for decades to understand and then, when everything falls into place, you finally get it, there is nothing like it.

My best wishes to you and yours for a wonderful 2014.

Falling into place, that's how my moments were. No big lightbulb moments, more "Well, DUH." Still, it's the same feeling. Things came apart then rearranged themselves so they made *much* more sense.

Best wishes to you and yours as well.
