Blakes...

You are always a good one for thoughtful conversation. My FWW read a couple of posts on a dialog we had a couple of days ago on Timelines. It was a first for her, and made me feel great.

I enjoy seeing familiar names on this thread...

I start out on R, might glance through General before looking at W briefly. I rarely comment on W, but I learn. I have stayed away from JFO because I've been on my own healing journey.

This site has been SO GOOD for me. I have received strength and support so many times. Nothing lifts me more than a surprise Thank you PM from a member that brought something positive home from a post.

I'd rather be a witness for success than a victim.

God Bless, Ya'll!

She probably doesn't remember this, but I'm pretty sure it was me who scared Aubrie out of this forum.

Oh I remember.

But she got back at me months later by saying I looked like her MOM!

I meant it as a compliment, but I guess it backfired. Oops.

I only venture into JFO, if I see a recent post on the front page that I can particularly relate to. Because it is hard. Sometimes it can take me right back to dday1... that scared to lose him feeling which could really start to hurt R.

sisoon: I guess you could say SI's WSes don't need BSes' help to keep the unremorseful folks honest

Oh, I totally agree! Sometimes I sort get out the mental popcorn and easy chair when I see certain posts! What I was unclear about, was the urge to reach out to someone who was asking desperately what they can do for their BS. That's the time when Temptation raises it's head for me. I have a great deal of respect for the 2x4s that Aubrie and Company can swing!

Imagine a ship trying to set sail while towing an anchor. Cutting free is not a gift to the anchor. You must release that burden, not because the anchor is worthy, but because the ship is.
