When your matches show up in your front page, does that mean you show up on theirs too?
Ive been up for about 6 weeks now. Ive recieved maybe 20 matches in the first few days, then nothing. So I widened my settings and got a few more matches. Ive smiled at a couple, and sent questions to a couple and got nothing in return. But when I widened my settings, im getting lots of visits to my profile, but no communication. I think im a fairly great catch, but what should my expectations be???
On a positive note. Before I joined, I was active one free communication weekend (no picture, incomplete profile) and have been talking to someone really special. Hes asked me out, but we are still trying to work logistics out due to the distance between us.
Thanks for explaining this process for me.

No idea.
I find that I have more luck on the free sites versus the paid ones.
If you are looking for free, try OKCupid

I think eharmony does send your picture to the people it matches you to. But I think there are a lot of inactive users that one gets matched with. A lot of the profiles I've seen have "active over one month ago". This is my second go around on eHarmony, and after I quit the last time I got tons of "so and so has looked at your profile" notices even though there was no way I could take any action without reactivating my account. I "choose to believe"
that is what happens when I go for days without any "hits". I'm sure that is what is happening to you too!
