My WXWH#1 tried to get SS out of me and was unsuccessful because he had SSI disability income. He also did not get any portion of my 401K. I am sure it depends on the state and the judge. He was however successful in getting my son's SSI checks even though at the time my son didn't live with him. It backfired on him however when my son went to live with him at 14. They then took my son's SSI and deducted it from my CS. He thought he would be getting a nice CS check from me in addition to his and my son's SSI. He wound up getting a little over $200 a month in CS. It was always about the $$ in the first place, but in the end he was the one that screwed himself.

How do you all handle the HIGH cost of daycare.

I have two small children and my ww only makes minimum wage.

If I get full custody no problem if not there is no way between the two of us we can afford two households+cost of living and daycare for 2 children.

The saddest thing about betrayal is it never comes from your enemies

Right now I am employing the swipe and pray method of budgeting.

I swipe my credit card and pray it is approved.

I hope that next month will be more stable. My second income from teaching kicks in.
