I'm so sick of this weather. I hate the cold, I hate the snow, and I let my stupid boyfriend (he's my fiance when I'm not mad at him ) talk me into NOT moving to Florida.

So, cold, snowy, shitty PA it is.

And, it's so cold in my office that I have to wear 2 pairs of socks AND my winter boots to keep my feet from freezing. It's about a 15 degree drop in temp from the hallway to inside my door. But there's "Nothing" wrong with the heat.

Seriously, I'm sitting in my office in a fleece sweatshirt, with gloves on, two pairs of socks and my boots.

And I am not allowed to leave because the rest of the building is "fine".

Can you bring in a small space heater and keep it under your desk?

I would have to clear it with my boss, but I think I could. Shitty thing is, I work for a very large hospital/insurance company corporation and they have plenty of money to do things like FIX the heat or provide space heaters...spending my own money is not appealing.

But it might be necessary so I don't lose any fingers or toes.
