I was wondering if anyone has been discovered on here by either their spouse or others they know or know them? My privacy is of extreme concern to me.....

There have been instances of people lurking, looking for specific stories.
As with the rest of the internet, it is of the utmost importance that you protect your personal information and limit what you share to what is within your comfort zone to put out in public where anyone can read it.
If you have any specific concerns about an interaction, you can always PM a mod for help. 
ETA: You are of course welcome to PM the Guides as well, and we are happy to listen, but we will be turning your concerns directly over to the Mods anyway.

how do you find a mod to PM?

When a member needs a mod -
Start a new thread with Mod Call as the topic.
Then a mod pm's you.

Their names are at the top of the website homepage. Or you can start a thread with the title Mod Please, and you will be contacted via PM.

You can start a thread titled "Mod Please" and the first one available will respond.
Also, on the top of the main forum page there is a staff listing. You can click on any Moderator's username and it will take you to their profile. On the top right corner of the profile page is a "Send Private Message" option. Click on that and it will start a message to them.
Authenticnow, Jo2love, and Wifehad5 are wonderful, compassionate people who dedicate a lot of time and heart to the members here. DeeplyScared and metamorphisis are administrators but they are involved in mod functions. Hope this helps.

Side note - Members can pm a mod, but if it's urgent you won't know which one of us is online. At any given time it could 1 of us, all of us, it's a mystery. So a mod call is the best way to go for urgent issues.
