I went to a matinee showing so I didn't notice any adults, but Lego is such a well established toy with lots of loyal fans that I wouldn't think that it was creepy.

No, it's not creepy. Go see it if you want to.

My son asked last night if he could take us all to see it. Offered to sit with the girls so WH and I could have a mini-date. (Isn't he an awesome kid?)

We're going to go to a matinee tomorrow. And pick up discounted chocolates and candies while we're out.

I think we are going to take ds tonight for Valentines Day. Which prompted my dd to say to her boyfriend "If we ever get married and have kids and start bringing them on our dates it's over!".

I didn't have the heart to tell her she just said the words "married" and "kids" to a 17 year old boy and it's probably over now anyway

Just took the little one and we all enjoyed the movie. I thought it would be too intense for DS as she can be sensitive to things...but she really like it. Now she cant stop singing the theme song.

As a side note, instead of the fog, can we just start calling it cloud cuckoo land with unicorn kitties?

Well, that was a funny movie! Teslet got upset a couple of times toward the end and started to cry and jumped into my lap. A couple things in the movie hit a nerve...but that post belongs up in D/S. He sang the theme song the WHOLE ride home and wants to know when the next one is coming out.

yep... related to unikitty ;-)

absolutely would recommend this movie :-)

me, WH and our kids (daughters 10,8 and son 5) all enjoyed immensely and I was especially glad to be able to laugh given I'd only just found out about the whole mess of an A this past Jan 25

"Everything is awesome!!!!"

I absolutely LOL'd at some of the parts, especially when BatMan said, "I'll text you!"

i thought it was a well done movie, great "lesson" for the adults too.

Dd was stuck on batman saying, "You are such a disappointment." If they came out with that on a card...with sound. I know a few people I would send that to.

I like this but I got hung up on the idea of how the person sitting in the middle on top gets down. I mean really, if you have to pee in the middle of the movie, you would have to disrupt everyone unless you just jumped. But then you'd have to get back up once you are done. (This is serious for those of us in the nerdy engineering variety trying to figure out how we can actually build something like this - although LEGO(TM) would probably sue me for trademark infringement )
