the Moline, Illinois, Davenport Iowa area? FWH got orders that he is going to be stationed at Rock Island Arsenal in June so we are looking for recommendations for a realtor. We are putting this house on the market and don't know if it will sell. Even if it does we will lose money, so we are looking to rent in either the Moline or Davenport areas. I am hoping someone here knows of or is a realtor in that area. TIA

I have a few friends up that way, let me ask around and see what they recommend.

I originally joined SI as a way to help my best friends find ways of coping with infidelity, but now infidelity has touched my family much closer to home.

There is Mel Foster out there. They work both sides of the border. We used them when we were looking. Nice people about 12 years ago. There's also a century 21 agent. I never worked directly with them but we had looked at their houses. My H family all lived out that way. They usually work with Mel foster.

Good luck. :)

I lived out there, in Moline, when I was a kid and we took field trips to the Arsenal area all the time. I miss the Mississippi River, to be honest. There's something about living near it that is unlike anywhere else to me.

The first thing you need to do is find a Maid-Rite restaurant. Just trust me on this. A house can wait. That sandwich canNOT.

I don't have a realtor suggestion, but good luck on your upcoming move!
