I am posting here because I am very stressed. I don't have the ability to be unstressed and I am afraid I will be upset with people.
I never had this problem before but I guess it is another gift from the divorce.
I suppose this shall pass. Thanks I just needed to get it out.

I just want you to know that you've been heard fireproof. Hang in there. Maybe go out for a walk or get some ice cream or something.

Thank you all. I had a really blessed life and I know it is different now.
I have to be grateful and appreciate being married to my best friend but it wasn't meant to be.
I guess I posted so this thought wouldn't attach to a difficult day.
Tomorrow will be better. Truly thank you. It is me and I know it is me. One foot in front of another.

Maybe type or write out things you want to say, just to vent it out without actually hurting anyone's feelings? I used to think that was trivial and pointless, but I've really found it so helpful, especially when I'm at those near breaking points. I pretend I'm going to give them the letter, but I know deep down I won't, that way I write it as if it's to them but since I'm not giving it to them I can be brutally honest.
I also think certain people are really understanding when someone says something to the effect of "I'm really dealing with a lot right now, I'm going to do my best not to get upset with you but wanted to say up front that I'm pretty frazzled" ...sort of humanizes you and connects you with that person in what could be an otherwise polarizing/isolating experience
But, if you're not dealing with safe people then that could backfire....that's when I just vent to other people instead.
At any rate, you're safe here and you're heard!

Today was a better day. I just relaxed about life.
Everyone expresses caring differently and knowing they are there is key.
I was reminded that it is a matter of getting use to people. Overtime it will happen or maybe an understanding.
Thank you- it really helped. I think it is really hard to sit with discomfort and believe but it is possible!
