Had my first beer on the patio of my new property. Finally, it was warm enough and the wind died down enough to make it actually pleasant. I am so sick of winter, I am sick of snow, I am sick of vicious wind. Today for the first time, I feel there might be a promise of summer. Bring 'er on!

I read that as 'bear on the patio'. That wouldn't have been as much fun .

DS, you are forever in my heart. Thank you for sharing your beautiful spirit with me. I will always try to live by the example you have set. I love you and miss you every day and am sorry you had to go so soon, it just doesn't seem fair.

Bear on the patio

Ummmm, NO, AN!Unless you mean "bear" as in "skin" as in "swimming pool ready to jump into"!

Didn't take photos of the beer drinking, but this was taken through my kitchen window yesterday. There are still patches of snow, but the deck is clear, and badly in need of a stain. Can anyone say "work party"?

Could take a whack of peeps, that's for sure. Heading out there for 5 days over Easter. Can't wait. Visits always mean wicked bouts of work, but still, I love it.
