Yes, my boys are spread out like that in age mostly by choice. I was only a few months shy of 18 yrs old when I had my first son. He was supposed to be an only child until that engagement to his father broke off. Once I found my current hubby (fWH), we had a baby only a couple years after meeting/dating. We were so young but wanted a baby and to get married so much!
After years of a rocky marriage and of course the infidelities, I knew it wouldn't be wise to bring another child into a damaged M.
But happily, 10 yrs after our first baby together (tho, he raised my oldest since he was 4 yrs old), and R, we decided to FINALLY have our next baby! And just in time as my clock was ticking pretty loudly nearing 35 yrs old, lol
