I am really struggling with my depression and anxiety and can't stop mind movies and today I was really close to a panic attack.
I thinking of trying hypnotherapy for it. Has anyone else used it before and did it help?

Hypnotherapy can be difficult for people with anxiety. Relaxation tends to be tough for them. I've never tried it myself. My wife has been trying Nerofeedback and Biofeedback it seems to help her a lot.
Years ago my anxiety was uncontrollable and I found traditional therapy very helpful.

I have not done it. WH wanted to do it in order to "forget" about the OW and to make himself "fall in love" with me again. HA. When I described what was going on with him to the hypnotherapist my IC recommended, she said he really needed to deal with his issues - sex/love addiction/porn habit - first before she could help him. Now I think she might be able to help him. I think it's worth a shot.
She recommended for me a bunch of self guided hypnosis things from this website. They helped me deal with the anger I felt.

The thing that has helped me the most is addressing my FOO issues and facing all of the unresolved pain from my childhood.
