lol

I'm a child of the 80s so I remember a bunch of the ones already mentioned.

My mom says something that used to crack me up when I was a kid...

"Heavens to Murgatroyd!!!"

Still don't know what it means but usually it followed one of us kids doing something incredibly stupid or dense.

You just need a child of the 60s to let you know that's Snagglepuss:

Thanks TR! I found that it was Snagglepuss when I googled to find the correct spelling (I'm a nerd like that) but don't know much else about it.

I remember Snagglepuss. I think he still comes on Boomerang or TV Land every once in a while.

And from UK television adverts from a certain era:

Don't forget the fruit gums, Mum!

Cheese please, Louise! (I think almost every Brit of a certain age still says this when asking for the cheese during a meal.)

Question: What do you think of it so far?

Answer: RUBBISH!

In response to something I don't believe:

Pull the other one: it's got bells on.

I loved Snagglepuss!

Please tell me I'm not the only one who watches Dancing With the Stars and giggles everytime they introduce Peta Murgatroyd. She's an amazing dancer and I love her, but I always hear "heavens to murgatroyd!" in Snagglepuss's voice.

The 80's were like totally bitchin. :)

They were the bomb!

I remember the 70's were cold-blooded.

And of course, everything was cool and still is!

Right on!!
