These are the movies that if they are on I'll automatically stop and watch.

My fav for rewatching is the last 20 minutes of Tombstone which I'll rewind over and over. "I'll be yur huckleberry.... Johnny Ringo, you look like somebody just walked over your grave... Yes! Decades ago when I was a kid, I caught it on some Sat aftn movie of the week sort of thing. Loved it! Of course, I've always loved Dick Van Dyke and Gene Kelly so that may be why I was so fascinated by the movie

What a Way to Go: always loved that one. Funny and dark at the same time

So many musicals because as that show said, "That's Entertainment!": Singing in the Rain, Sound of Music, Funny Girl, Hello Dolly, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Unsinkable Molly Brown, Fiddler on the Roof, An American in Paris, My Fair Lady (my favorite musical): Eliza Dolittle is a great character. A woman who wants to make something better of herself and stands up to a NPD!!! LOL. I still like Henry Higgins, anyway :) The lyrics are great, George Bernard Shaw at his best!

Some of the oldies: Arsenic and Old Lace, Casablanca, Some Like it Hot, The Great Race (Jack Lemmon, Peter Falk, and Tony Curtis) perfect tongue and cheek comedy, any Jimmy Stewart movie: Philadelphia Story, It's a Wonderful Life; The Ghost and Mrs. Muir;

All About Eve: Bette Davis at her best!! "It's gonna be a bumpy night!" Who can deliver that line like that??

I LOVE the Matrix series. Really makes you think.

The Oceans movies (eleven, twelve, thirteen), great plots, great acting and a lot of eye candy, lol.

Ferris Bueller's Day Off is the official family movie since it was the first movie my older sons taped on VHS years ago and watched over and over so that we all knew all the lines!! We still can quote them all. :)

I like Sci Fi/ Fantasy, so the Harry Potter films, LOTR (been a book lover years and years ago....kind of like a nerd with that), Matrix, Avatar, all the Marvel comic/ turned movies: Iron Man, Spiderman, X-Men, etc.

I love Awakenings with Robin Williams and Deniro...sad, but so inspiring.

I will watch The Birdcage over and over. Laugh every single time. What fun!

An oldie, but not well known: Westward The Women

What a great movie about mail order brides travelling west with all the hardships doing a man's job. An OLD movie, but well done with the history and how hard it was to cross the country. Quite accurate.

I do enjoy a lot of the Pixar films, especially Finding Nemo. It's funny , LOVE Dory, and heartwarming.

There are so many other movies that other people have mentioned like The Quiet Man (I think John Wayne's best performance) and Forrest Gump, well done with the history and poignant as well.

Rain Man, Tootsie, Fargo are great.

Groundhog Day is one of my favorites. I had to watch it more than once to really appreciate it and now, like a song that if you hear it over and over it becomes one of your favorites, so has this movie. I've "seen" a lot in it the more I watch it. At first it's funny and light, but it's a lot deeper that you think it is. A great moralistic story. Ironically, I didn't like Bill Murray before this movie, but he was perfectly cast.

As Good As It Gets is another movie that I like. Nicholson gets better as an actor!!

I know I mentioned Jimmy Stewart movies, but also, Cary Grant... anything with him in it is great, especially old Hitchcock movies!

Terms of Endearment - so emotional

Cabaret- Just loved it for some reason(maybe a young Michael York?)

I got tons, but one of my favorites is 12 Angry Men. I wasn't alive when it was made, but have watched it countless times. I think it is idea that if someone advocates for you, anything can happen!

I love really messed up movies or ones that are really difficult to figure out.

One of my favorites is Primer. It's the most convoluted, difficult and interesting movies about time travel. I had to watch it again as soon as I finished the first time. I've watched a few more times since then. I think I may be close to figuring it out????
