I am loving this sunshiny week.
Last year this time I'd just moved into my new apartment and they were ripping off the back of the house so there was no place to sunbathe or sit and have coffee in the back 40 (it's a mansion on a small-ish lot).
This year, COMPLETELY different scenario. I saw some Adirondack chairs in a heap in the basement and asked the owners if I could put one out on the new patio they made out there (they have their own patio out front).
Next thing I see is two chairs put out there for me to use on 'my' patio... There are only two other suites in the house, the one across the hall has a deck off the kitchen, and the kids in the garret don't appear to be into hanging out.
So it's.ALL.MINE.
Was out there this morning having coffee, it was like the South of France. In the late afternoon it's cool and shady, so it will be perfect for those smoking hot days for a drink after work.
I love summer.

Yep, we're finally seeing some beautiful weather here in western pa. I swear you can hear the grass growing.

Sounds heavenly
I have a balcony with a lounge chair. I hung planters from the railing (strawberries and herbs), a few on the floor (mint, sunflowers & tomatoes) and added two double shepherd's crooks with four bird feeders. My complex is wooded, so it feels (a little) like camping
