I wonder who Skye's parents are. I thought they were monsters. Or am I getting my shows mixed up?

No, you're not mixed up. That was the story that came out earlier in the season, though Skye hasn't heard that yet.

The implication in the last few episodes has been that her parents are alien (as in extraterrestrial), which is why the healing serum worked on her. But I think a huge clue to her parentage was that the serum worked on her AND Coulson...

I think her parents will turn out to be Coulson and Melinda May (but then, I thought that from the first episode...).

Hmmm...I would be surprised if that were the case. Remember they went looking into Skye's background and it was clear they were in the dark on it too. I think Coulson and May are effectively her parents now. Coulson is clearly like a father to her. I expect the showdown to be between her bio dad and Coulson who will fight to protect Skye.

One of the more amazing shows this season. I wish it was next season! I want me some more answers!

Imagine a ship trying to set sail while towing an anchor. Cutting free is not a gift to the anchor. You must release that burden, not because the anchor is worthy, but because the ship is.

I was watching the show again and I just picked up on something. The strange diagram that Coulson (and Garrett) were drawing the finale...they show some of it in episode 4. The scene where Ward goes into that secured factory-like building. He's wearing special glasses to pretend to be Akela Amador. When he saw the diagram the Clairvoyant snapped a picture and said mission completed.
