I started rereading these a few weeks ago. The first in the series, Fer-de-Lance, was published 80 years ago and yet the language is still ...um... current.
The Doorbell Rang about the FBI may be of current interest.
In any case, a good library should have them. Obviously, I think they're worth reading, and I'd like to find out if younger readers agree.
If you're in a library and at loose ends, pick one up, and let me know what you think. Thanks.

At one time, I owned every single Rex Stout mystery written - all 47 of them. It took me years to find them all because they were out of print (now, Kindle has most of them). They are wonderful! I read them every few years, when I had forgotten the details of the mystery.

I read them all 100 years ago and loved them. I'm not a rereader of books, because there are too many new ones I want to read, but I highly recommend Nero Wolfe to any mystery reader. For you young'uns out there, they will be a treat.
