Ha ha. Some of these are making me just crack up.
And omg, I completely forgot about the mouth smacking. If he eats anything taffy like, it takes me everything to not freak out. It's like nails on a chalkboard.

Giant steel toe boots taken off and left in walk ways. Especially around the bed! Those are heavy and hurt when you accidently kick them.

Happily remarried to a wonderful man (Aussie). I think I found the right guy and the right finger this time.

1) he chews with his mouth open. a lot. some of our more "open" friends will say, "who's smacking?" and he gets it but totally doens't know he's doing it.
2) he has to be the last one out of the house whenever we go somewhere. If I am the last one out and he's waiting in the car, he'll have to go back in.
3) he blames this being late on traffic, when in fact it's that we didn't allow enough time. He doesn't want anyone thinking it was his fault. sigh...
however, I have no issues with laundry, dirty dishes, socks, etc. He is GREAT about that! and he does the dishes every night.

1) He won't blow his nose. He'd rather SNUFFLE all that gross shit back up and down his throat than reach 2 ft away from him to get a tissue. I HATE THAT SOUND!!!!!!
2) He uses my love seat as his laundry bin. As in, he puts his dirty boxers, shorts, socks, shirts on the love seat. And then ignores it.
3) He leaves garbage on his "tray" next to his chair. For days.
I blame his Smother for this. She followed after him with mop, broom, and laundry hamper for the first 34 yrs of his life.
He's learning slowly that life doesn't work that way in our house and he needs to police his own areas.

He leaves cabinet doors open. He leaves drawers open. I can chart his progress around the kitchen or through the house by what's been left open.
Whenever we have company or party, he has to clean the shop. Because, you know. That's what's important. That the shop is swept and the metal shavings are cleaned up. Whether or not there is food, meh, secondary.

Actually it's great to see the 'husband pet peeves' listed since I don't do ANY of those things. (at least so far)
I'll be the stereotypical male here:
1. Pretty much always 10 minutes late when leaving the house. Being late isn't the problem. The last few minutes is a nightmare of changing clothes, fussing with her hair, using bathroom, etc. She's so hectic it really stresses everyone out.
2. Forgetting/mixing dates & times up. Just yesterday she asked me to take DS to the dentist. Left work early, took him in only to find the appointment was next week. That stuff happens alot.
3. Asking me what she should wear to an event. As in "what do you think the other ladies will be wearing"? How would I know? That is squarely in your domain. I'll tell you if it looks nice but don't ask if it's appropriate.
That's pretty much Adult ADHD in a nutshell.

1. Leaving his dirty clothes on the bathroom floor. Seriously there is a basket RIGHT THERE! (Also when he brings in a whole load of sweatshirts/jackets from his truck and drops them on the floor in front of the empty washer).
2. Gum wrappers/bottle caps on tables/counters. There's a trash can two steps away. Seriously! (Used to it was spit bottles and empty chew cans. I'm thankful it's only gum wrappers now)
3. Lack of time management or a sense of urgency. He's ok with being a little late. I am not. And I plan everything with precise times in mind. So, when he adds a stop at a convenience store when we are headed somewhere, it throws my plans off (and usually makes us late for where ever we are going). I've started specifying when we need to leave the house if he plans to stop vs no stop. That has helped some.

DD(when she was 7): please don't ever die because Dad doesn't know what's going on...
I went home (to Alaska) to visit over Labor Day and left him in charge. School pictures occurred while I was away. DS (2nd grade) has a jelly smear from his mouth to his ear. I thought leaving out their clothes would eliminate any problem. WRONG!
However, I just laugh at these things now. They make for good stories at Thanksgiving and Christmas.

That's definitely a a keeper ( although I'm sure you keep them all like me) but it's even better since dad was behind it.
